James Bond goes to the Land of the Rising Sun in this fast-paced entry in the series, Sean Connery's last before his initial defection from the role. The hot tub artwork featured in this country-of-origin poster is a favorite among collectors.
With a huge budget of $9.5 million, YOu Only Live Twice took Bond fans into a new dimension, with expensive special effects and large-scale action scenery. The film was loosely based on Fleming's novel, but was taken predominantly from an original screen play by Roald Dahl. And so Bond was thrust into a high-tech space setting surrounded by rockets and space suits.
Bond's next missionis to prevent the outbreak of WWIII. The British Government believes a third party in Japan is capturing American & Russian rockets and leading each continent to suspect the other and threaten it with nuclear war. Bond discovers that Blofeld of SPECTRE is responsible for this and even has plans to be the leader of the surviving population.
Due to theclose release dates of You Only Live Twice and Casino Royale, Broccoli & Saltzman were concerned about the box-office takings. This was anticipated to be Sean Connery's final film, as he had become weary of being too closely associated with Bond. However Frank McCarthy and Robert McGinnis presented a very successful British poster campaign. McCarthy focused on the lavish and elaborate set designs of Ken Adam, whereas McGinnis chose to study the exotic women. Due to the sucess of these designs, the images were also used extensively throughout the world and are still rated as some of the very best Bond artwork. Date of release June 1967. |

| Notes : Probably the rarest & most sought after of all the James Bond posters. This exquisite copy is 'Unfolded' and in superb condition.
Design by Robert Brownjohn. This more conservative design for the British Quad was designed to be used mainly in Ireland. The publicity department responsible for the campaign had noticed that exposed body parts tended to be painted over by sensitive individuals. Therefore, a hand has replaced the provcative golden body image. (Linen-backed) |

After the success of Bond's first outing, the excellent Dr. No, the producers of the brand-spankin' new franchise knew they had to up the stakes considerably. And up the stakes they did. From Russia with Love featured more cool gadgets, more vile villains, more heart-pounding action, more beautiful women... In short, more of all the things that make Bond, Bond. This Cold War thriller really played up the conflict between the U.S. and Russia that was on everyone's mind at the time, following the Cuban Missile Crisis. This fabulous poster, which many consider to be superior to any of the American paper, boasts graphics by French poster artist Boris Grinnson. |

Sean Connery, reprising his role as James Bond 007, thought this would be his final appearance as the greatest cinematic spy of all time - but 'never say never' like he did in 1967 after appearing in You Only Live Twice. In this thrilling sequel, Bond takes on his arch-nemesis, Blofeld and SPECTRE to foil a diamond smuggling operation that eventually leads to a plot of world domination (of course!). This British quad is the country-of-origin poster that Bond collectors love ! Near Mint on Linen. |

Bond's mission takes him to the steamy island of Jamaica, where mysterious energy waves are interfering with U.S. missile launches. As he unravels the astonishing truth, 007 must fight deadly assassins, sexy femme fatales and even a poisonous tarantula. With the help of crack CIA agent Felix Leiter (Jack Lord) and the beautiful Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress), he searches for the headquarters of Dr. No, a fanatical scientist who is implementing an evil plan of world domination. Only James Bond, with his combination of wit, charm and skill, can confront the madman and save the human race from a horrible fate.

| Notes : Dr. No (United Artists, 1962). British Quad (30' X 40').
Sean Connery appears for the very first time as Ian Fleming's legendary British superspy - James Bond, Agent 007 with a license to kill - in this superb production. Bond travels to Jamaica to thwart the plans of the insidious Dr. No (Joseph Wiseman), a madman who threatens to destroy the world by hijacking the United States' nuclear arsenal. Ursula Andress scores as the first Bond girl, making waves in her classic white bikini. A very rare and highly desired 'country of origin' original film poster. In the first Bond film, we get all the signature elements that make the 007 serioes so enjoyable: the exotic locales, the license to kill, the evil SPECTRE organisation, ubiquitos martinis, 'Bond' women, an fast cars. Sean Connery sets the style for the suave, thrilling British ecret agent, along with Joeph Wieman as Dr. Julius No, the first evil mastermind to cross paths with Bond, as Swiss bombshell Ursula Andress a bikini-clad Honey Rider.

| Notes : Goldfinger (United Artists, 1964). British Quad, size measures 30 x 40 inches. While the James Bond franchise started with Dr. No, and continued with the hugely entertaining From Russia with Love, it didn't really hit its stride until the third movie in the series, the incomparable Goldfinger. With this film, all the Bond tropes were firmly established, such as the outlandish and colorful gadgets, the larger-than-life supervillains, and the impressive cars (this one featured the legendary Aston-Martin), added to the already-present traditions, including the lush locales, the suave leading man, and, of course, the ineffably beautiful Bond girls. In many ways, this movie set the standard for all Bond films to follow, and many fans still consider this the very high point of the series. Offered here is a very rare country-of-origin British quad. |

| Notes : Diamonds Are Forever Original 1971 British Quad. Sean Connery's last outing as James Bond (at least until the unofficial Never Say Never Again) finds him tracking a plot to steal diamonds for a high-powered laser gun. Loosely based on Ian Fleming's fourth Bond novel, this substitutes a returning Blofeld (Charles Gray) for the book's original villains, and is heavy on the eye-candy, with buxom beauties Jill St. John (the first American Bond girl) and Lana Wood adding decoration. This stunning country-of-origin British quad features Bond flanked by a couple of bikini babes, amid plenty of explosions. |

This film marks the last appearance in the official Bond series of 007's nemesis, Ernst Stavros Blofeld (he's the man in the wheelchair that Bond dispatches in the pre-credits sequence), as the rights to that character had been won by Kevin McClory, executive producer of 'Never Say Never Again' in a court battle. Scarce and desirable British Quad in excellent condition, a treasure that any Bond fan would be proud to own. |

James Bond continues on his fourth mission, with his aim to recover two stolen warheads. They have been taken by the evil SPECTRE organisation. The world is held hostage and Bond heads to Nassau. | Notes : On introducing James Bond in Dr. No, producers Broccoli & Saltzman could not have forseen the phenomenon that the series of films would soon become. But the material already had a certain glamour. Here was an anti-hero who was terribly British, who killed in cold blood and yet was able to charm numerous beautiful women and solve the deadliest of crimes, all in a day's work.
This adaptation from the novel by Ian Fleming was one of the films most faithful to the original story. James Bond is sent to Jamaica with a mission: to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of fellow agent John Strangways. The trail leads him to the isalnd of Crab Key, the base of the SPECTRE headquartersof corrupt scienstist Dr. No, whom Bond believes to be the murderer. Dr. No informs Bond of his aim of world domination and the destruction of the US space programme. Battle commences between Bond & Dr. No, until the villain finally falls ino his own trap and dies.
Mitchell Hooks painted the iconic image of Sean Connery as Bond, with a smoking pistol in one hand and a cigarette in the other. This image was used internationally at the time, as well as in later poster campaigns. The posters featured Bond surrounded by several glamorous women, a visual shorthand that was to make the secret agent immediately recognizable to cinema audiences worldwide. Joseph Caroff designed the 007 logo, which, with a few variations, has been used throughout the series. |

From Russia with Love (United Artists, 1964). One Sheet (27' X 41') Style B.
In this, the second entry in the popular franchise, James Bond (Sean Connery) must retrieve the Lektor decoding device from the Russians before it falls into the hands of SPECTRE. Of course, along the way he must contend with both Donald 'Red' Grant (Robert Shaw) and the villainous Rosa Kleb (Lotte Lenya), who are both in the employ of the unseen, yet highly malevolent, Ernst Stavro Blofeld. One of the most exciting and action-packed pictures in the series, the book - by Ian Fleming - upon which this film was based was named by President John F. Kennedy as one of his ten favorites of all time. The style B one sheet offered here is Tri-folded only. |

This fabulous poster, which many consider to be superior to any of the American paper, boasts graphics by French poster artist Boris Grinsson.
James Bond willingly falls into an assassination ploy involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by SPECTRE. |

George Lazenby became the third actor to play Ian Fleming's British superspy, James Bond (Barry Nelson was the first, followed by Sean Connery), in this exciting entry in the ever-popular 007 franchise. This time, bereft of most of the gadgets that had come to mark the Connery Bond, 007 must stop Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Telly Savalas) from devastating the world with a deadly virus. One of the most faithful adaptations of any of Fleming's novels, this is considered by many to be one of the best films in the series. |

More men have walked on the moon than had the chance to play the most famous, fictional spy film has ever seen: James Bond. Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig are the six men that have taken on the role of Bond who Ian Fleming first unleashed in his 1952 novel Casino Royale. With following novels such as From Russia with Love and Goldfinger creating international success, producers Harry Saltzman and Albert 'Cubby' Brocolli joined forces, taking Fleming's imagination from book to silver-screen. Since then, EON's films such as Dr. No, Octopussy and Goldeneye have left audiences gripped by the fearless Agent 007 of the British Secret Service, and continue to do so. Characters such as Miss Moneypenny and Blofeld are synonymous with the series, and with a whole host of actors including Christopher Lee and Judi Dench, the Bond series is intrinsically iconic. The voices of Shirley Bassey, Louis Armstrong and Tom Jones have featured on the striking title sequences, adding to the list of famous names, with Adele being its latest addition.
The most recent installmant Skyfall has been more than successful in satisfying the appetites of Bond fans, and keeps the legend of the agent with a license to kill alive.

As he tracks down Scaramanga, he realises that he is highly respected by the killer, but will this prove to be an advantage in the final showdown?
