| Notes : Sir James Bond is enjoying his retirement when four international agents press him into service again in hopes of smashing SMERSH and Topple LeChiffre at the baccarat tables. Bond is taken in by Agent Mimi (alias Lady Fiona McTarry) who immediately falls in love with him. Bond's illegitimate daughter, Mata Bond, whose mother was the late Mata Hari, is going to help out. The current agent using the Bond name, Cooper, has his hands full, despite his assistance by beautiful secretary, Moneypenny. 007's nephew Jimmy Bond is supposedly incompetent. Bond, hoping to clear his name from its current low repute, hires Evelyn Tremble to meet LeChiffre at the gambling tables at Casino Royale. The world's richest agent, Vesper Lynd, helps convince Tremble to masquerade as 007. LINEN-BACKED. |

| Notes : Casino Royale (Columbia, 1967). British Quad (30' X 40'). In the only Bond film not produced by Cubby Broccoli's Eon Productions, David Niven takes on the role of Ian Fleming's master spy. This 'country of origin' British quad is one of the most desirable posters for this unorthodox entry in the James Bond series. Rare Country of Origin UK Quad poster for Bond spoof. After the death of M, Sir James Bond is called back out of retirement to stop SMERSH. In order to trick SMERSH and Le Chiffre, Bond thinks up the ultimate plan. That every agent will be named James Bond. One of the Bonds, whose real name is Evelyn Tremble is sent to take on Le Chiffre in a game of baccarat, but all the Bonds get more than they can handle, especially when the ultimate villain turns out to be Bonds nephew, Jimmy Bond. |

| Notes : After the failure of On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), Eon was desperate to get Sean Connery back to save the series. When he refused, the producers considered Roger Moore, then Timothy Dalton, before unexpectedly signing relatively unknown American actor John Gavin. UA chief David V. Picker was not impressed with the choice of Gavin and the order went out to get Connery at any price. He was finally lured back with an unprecedented deal making him the highest paid actor to date. The final contract involved Connery getting $1.25 million up front, 12.5\\% of the gross and a commitment from UA to finance two non-Bond films of Connery's choice. Connery later donated his fee to the Scottish International Trust.

| Notes : Diamonds Are Forever Original 1971 British Quad. Sean Connery's last outing as James Bond (at least until the unofficial Never Say Never Again) finds him tracking a plot to steal diamonds for a high-powered laser gun. Loosely based on Ian Fleming's fourth Bond novel, this substitutes a returning Blofeld (Charles Gray) for the book's original villains, and is heavy on the eye-candy, with buxom beauties Jill St. John (the first American Bond girl) and Lana Wood adding decoration. This stunning country-of-origin British quad features Bond flanked by a couple of bikini babes, amid plenty of explosions. |
